[and sometime, after the commotion from the explosion and the investigation die down, Girge is once again approached by three familiar faces. they all look pretty serious, and they lead him back to Kaito's room-- Room 112]

The Private Investigator has a recording of a series of events, too.

A gunshot sound in the distance. Later, someone walking past the recorder, opening the door and shutting it behind them. Later, someone else opening a door, shutting it behind them and walking past the recorder again. A muffled sound, like a bang. Someone else opening a door and dragging something along the floor, opening a door and shutting it behind them. Someone walking past the recorder, opening a door and shutting it behind them. And much, much later: the explosion.

I was able to get into Aloy-chan's room and I shot her in the head, also with a handgun-- [ it was frame the gangster week, okay. ]

Then I used her bed sheets to drag her to the kitchen. I used the lighter fluid and the matches from the pool to set the kitchen on fire... And around when the explosion happened... I assume that's when the flames in the kitchen manage to get to the stove, which did the actual explosion since it's a gas one sooooo...

That's about it!

[ That was his hand print somewhere in the lobby... The one that smelled like lighter fluid... haha ]

The fact that he was sniped at all. Anyone can hold a gun and fire until they hit something vital, but how many people here can snipe a head shot on their second try?

Actually, I would've gotten him on the first one if he hadn't blocked it. [So, the dent in his wristguard. Girge took the bullet.] I was very impressed!

But at any rate, I had to conceal the wound the killing shot made.

[So, bashing his head in and setting him on fire.]

...so you tried to make it look like both of them were killed by the same person...?

Well, I let Tsurugi do as he pleased.

On my part, I didn't really have much of a choice but to frame the Gangster. Was I supposed to frame the Bounty Hunter [aka himself] instead?

I know that was my first thought when Jay said Aloy had been shot, too.

I just wanted to kill Aloy-chan before she could fight back. So I used a gun.

At least she was dead before everything exploded, right? Didn't have to feel a thing.

I don't think anything in this timeline really points to any of you. [although, now that Kaito knows how the murders were committed, he can kind of guess which sound was which]
