[you know, whatever happens at the execution on Sunday. . . IT PROBABLY SUCKS!!1 so Kaito can be found shuffling into the kitchen, rubbing at one eye tiredly with a permanent scowl affixed on his features. he doesn't quite expect the smell of coffee, so when it reaches his senses he jerks back in surprise. but, although he's more of a chocolate milk kind of person (obviously), coffee is not unpleasant]

[he blinks a few times at the man at the coffee station, then lifts a hand and waves]

This is pretty good timing, all things considered.
